Stem Cell Treatment in Guadalajara

Journal Entry #1

On 8/17/2018 I finally made the decision to fly out to Guadalajara to do a stem cell treatment. This is something I really had no knowledge of, but was going mostly because my best friend David had this treatment and had his Lupus completely cured. When David told Dr. Delgadillo about my Parkinson's diagnosis he was so eager to meet me and help. His stem cells are solely plant based and the treatment consists of 32 shots to the stomach.

8/17/2018 Guadalajara Mexico Trip

Written by my girlfriend---

So we got on a plane at 7:00 am... left at 3:30 am so exhausting, but we arrived safe. David’s cousin picked us up in this tiny Nissan Sentra looking car with an aunt and a baby. Yes, me, Michael, David, his mom, his cousin, aunt and a baby fit in a car.. barely. We drove to go eat this amazing chicken at Pepe’s Pollo because We had to eat mostly bc michael had to fast before his treatment. After we make our way over for a 3:00pm appointment at the doctors office. Super tiny with three couches, a fan, and about 7 people waiting. We had to go fins a casa de cambio up so bc we had people waiting ahead of us Art (David’s cousin) drove us to a casa de cambio which was hard to find and there i got money and a fruit cup with tunas inside.(bomb) we also stopped to get waters and stuff bc we knew we’d have to wait a while for everyone to be done with treatment. We arrive back at the office and Michael is the first one to meet with the doctor. He’s this tall young looking 60 year old man with a beautifully tailored grid print black and gray suit.

This is the doctors information. He speaks Spanish, but his son is fluent in English.

This guy dyed his hair and looked like he belonged on a Bosley commercial. But before meeting him we met with a lady that took his blood pressure, weighed him and asked a bunch of medical questions. It was kinda hard bc their Spanish is so different especially medically speaking. She understood bits of Spainish as we did English. It was funny. She asked Michael to stop shaking while he was getting his blood pressure checked, she’d forgotten he had Parkinson’s. We laughed and isn’t wasn’t until we laughed did she turn so red, she was so embarrassed bc she realized he was the patient that had Parkinson’s. Honestly, by now we laugh because we understand that people often expect someone older. After David and Michael went and saw the doctor and there he got the treatment. I waited about an hour until he came out. Of course he came out smiling, which doesn’t necessarily mean it was a good sign because he’s always so optimistic. However he came out so happy and full of new information / clarity that he desperately needed. Michael got 32 shots within that hour that consisted of new vegetable/plant based stem cells. Stem cells aren’t approved in the united states so ideally that’s how we ended up here. This doctor travels internationally to learn/practice this procedure as do his patients travel internationally to come visit him here in Guadalajara to try this treatment. During the treatment the doctor immediately recognized Michael’s stiffness in his neck. He also feels lumps in his back that most likely relate to knots and he mentions his body is very stressed and that’s not helping his shaking and energy flow. Doctors have never pointed that out. He mentions to exercise more and to take dancing classes because dancing is so beneficial to the brain. He analyzes his eye sight and states that his Parkinson’s is solely genetic and goes back 7 years. No tests nor doctors have identified it as being genetic mostly just environmental so that was what Michael appreciated most. He also mentions that Michael’s prostate is enlarged and he asks if his sex drive is low, which in my opinion is. He laughs and tells the doctor if you ask my gf she will say YES without hesitation. (sorry TMI) David and him laugh but he emphasized that the stem cell will really benefit his prostrate. Additionally he points out his feet and says your feet are swollen and swell up because of how you walk. Michael has always felt so understood bc he didn’t know why this was happening but Parkinson’s patients typically develop swelling in their feet. I forgot to mention that during all of these talk he’s laying down and the doctor is injecting those 32 shots. But the talking is calming and helps Michael lose focus. The doctor is so passionate about Michael’s diagnosis and mentions that he is like a son to him now. Michael felt so relieved after the session even with such little information , it was quality information he’s been anticipating. After the procedure we wait for David and his mom to consume the stem cells as well and then we are off to arts house. We meet a couple family members they were so kind. We sit at the table with art to book a hotel in town. We check into el uno hotel and across the street. Within this time we’ve had to wait 3 hours to eat again because Michael was advised to fast after the treatment. The wait was worth it as we indulged arranchera, costillas, and chorizo tacos. We ended up in a food coma and immediately went back to the hotel and went fast asleep. During the night we experienced terrible thunder and lightning storms. It was scary and almost felt like we’d been attacked and gernades were being set off. I woke up around 6:30 to get ready.

I got up early made French braids and packed up as we planned to have free  breakfast around 7:00 downstairs in the lobby. The free breakfast was out of this world. Chorizo con papas, eggs, beans, eggs with ham, fruits, cereal, so many pasteries, toast, waffle maker (Michael had 7 waffles), coffee, yogurts and tea.

Truthfully, I was very worried about how Michael would wake, but he woke up excited and eager to head on out to Guadalajara. His shaking had decreased immensely and he didn't feel sick or didn't experience harsh symptoms. He was so ready to seize the day and make our way out to Guanajuato. Attached our some photos from our Guanajuato trip. Though we experience hardship in our lives, Michael always makes sure we enjoy every minute. Here we are hours after treatment enjoying Mexico at a very famous Spa.
